Sleepy

I'm so sleepy this morning. I'm not sure why, but now I'm totally running late. So I put together a really quick yogurt parfait.

My morning parfait included some warmed up berries, vanilla Greek yogurt, and homemade cinnamon raisin granola with some harvest mix.

Off to work I go.

A new addition

I enjoyed my breakfast this morning on the deck with Jeff, in my new bowl from Michelle. This bowl was the perfect size and shape, I must get more.

I decided to make a parfait this morning mainly for the protein. But half way through I wished that I had made oats instead. This breakfast didn't really hit the spot. But that's okay it provided a good source of nutrients.

In the mix:
Non fat plain Greek yogurt
warmed up mixed berries
drizzle of raw honey
Kashi harvest whole wheat biscuits
Barbara's bakery cinnamon oat puffs (the last of them, so sad)
Yogi walnut spice granola
drizzle of coconut butter
almond butter

Jeff and I both have a free day today, so we are planning on laying low and doing something casual and fun today. I think we are also going to one of the local brewery's for lunch.

Summer parfait

This morning I decided to have a yogurt parfait.

1 container Tj's blueberry Greek yogurt
warmed up frozen mixed berries
handful of Galaxy cranberry orange granola
handful Tj's low fat almond granola

Will melted coconut butter on top. The coconut butter spread out and melted in, so yummy.

New containers

I made a parfait today for lunch. I was testing out my new little Tupperware containers. They worked great, they are the perfect portion size, and saved me from wasting several little plastic bags. The only down side was my raspberries leaked all over my lunch, snacks, and my lunch tote.

I had Tj's blueberry Greek yogurt
warmed up raspberries
Tj's low fat almond granola
for a snack I had a coconut cream pie Larabar and some pear sauce

Lunch

Parfait time, I never get tired of this combo
For lunch I had some Tj's blueberry Greek yogurt, some Tj's low fat mixed berry granola, and some warmed up marionberries that were being microwaved when this picture was taken. I'm a little weird in that I like my berries warmed up a little before mixing it in my yogurt. That way it's a little more of a room temperature or slightly warm yogurt. I hate really cold yogurt, gross.

Parfait

I mixed up a small single serving of blueberry Tj's greek yogurt, a 1/4 cup Tj's low fat mixed berry granola, and some warmed up frozen berries.

Mid day parfait

I made a little parfait at work today. One of my favorites because it's quick, easy, and covers all the important nutrients, protein, carbs, and some fruit.
