Perfectly ripe

I have an abundance of banana's that are perfectly ripe and need to be used. So I started by making some whipped banana oats.

In the mix (serving for two)
1/3 cup oats
1/3 cup Bob's spice n nice hot cereal
1.5 cups hot water
splash almond milk
dash salt
mix together in a small pot
cook for 5-10 min.
1/2 of a sliced banana stirred in at the end.  I made the banana slices thick and big.  Wow that made all the difference.  You could taste the banana so much more in the oats.

Topped with
marionberry all fruit spread
drizzle of raw carrot honey
(the bees are supposed to have pollinated from carrots, creating a stronger honey flavor)
sprinkle of homemade cinnamon raisin granola
sprinkle of unsweetened coconut

Any suggestions on ways to use up my other banana's, maybe with some baking?

  1. You learn something new everyday. I didn't know that bees pollinated carrots, but I guess they hey take care of everything.

  2. I'd go for a smoothie, especially if they're getting on the over ripe side. Throw in some of your pears and that would be a yummy combo.
