This early bird is getting tired of the early mornings. That's when some good oatmeal pancakes must come in.
In the mix:
1/2 cup oats
2 TB. Bob's apple cinnamon hot cereal
2 egg whites
1/4 tsp. baking soda
dash salt
3 TB. pear sauce
mix together
microwave for 30 sec.
cook in a non stick skillet
Patience is a virtue and I seem to have none. I always seem to get my pancakes too brown/slightly burnt. This was a tasty set of pancakes and really help perk up the morning.
Topped with
sunflower butter
raspberry all fruit spread
sprinkle of unsweetened coconut
The "browness" can add flavor.

ReplyDeleteyou used bob's apple cinnamon cereal blend!!!!! that would be perfect for pancakes!! i never thought of using mine for pancakes, but what a perfect idea!! darn good with sunflower seed butter ontop too!! lookin lovely- pays to be an early bird, thats for sure <3
