I'm back. The power has been out since 3:30am, right after Jeff left for work. I have been freaking out because it's June I'm not prepared for a power outage. We live outside the city so it makes everything much more complicated.
I missed kickboxing this morning due to not being able to make breakfast, open the garage, and I was worried about the food in the fridge going bad. Now it's back on and I have to leave for work. It's been a bad day, but finally now I can take a quick shower before work.
I did manage to get the gas range working by doing it the manual way of lighting it, and made some oats on the stove this morning. I didn't even blow up the kitchen.
