More the merrier

It's Friday night pizza night, with the holiday's in mind of course. Tis the season to always be thinking about those holiday gatherings.

And now they have become pizza bites. These were loaded with pizza sauce, chicken sausage, zucchini, mushrooms, red onion, pineapple, reduced fat cheddar cheese, and a little basil for seasoning. Served on top of whole wheat naan bread.

These would be perfect for holiday parties served as an appetizer. I would suggest doing less toppings. I always get carried away with toppings. I've never met a topping I didn't like, and I feel like more the merrier.

  1. I like the name, pizza boats...very cute : ) I've never had naan, does it remain a little chewy or crisp up all around?

  2. It is the softest bread. I usually pre bake it in the oven for about 10 min. and then it crisps up on the bottom and sides.
