Croutons

I made some croutons for our salad
I tossed in a bowl, 2 slices of diced Tj's whole wheat naan bread with a sprinkle of garlic salt, oregano, thyme, basil, and parsley with 1tsp. of olive oil. Bake at 350 degrees for 10min. and than toss and cook on broil for 2 min. at a time for 4 min. tossing in between. The naan bread was the perfect bread for the croutons. They were crunchy on the outside and soft on the outside.

  1. Great idea, I would have never thought of using that type of bread for croutons.

  2. That was the first time I have used the naan. I have only made my own croutons about twice and each time I cut up chunks of the Great Harvest honey whole wheat. But the naan bread was better because it stayed soft on the inside, Jeff liked it better also.
