Pretty little jars

After wasting away half the day cleaning house and doing laundry, I finally got some motivation to embark on the baking project I had planned.

I baked a tray of harvest mix and a tray of cinnamon raisin granola. Some it will be for gifts and the rest will be for me to enjoy.

I packaged some up in little mason jars for gifts, so cute. The harvest mix has some oats, mixed nuts, raisins, dried cherries, and dried cranberries.

This makes a perfect gift for fall. Especially when I pick up some cute pumpkin ribbon to tie around the jars.

Granola queen

Main ingredients for homemade granola

Yes that's me baking in my pajama pants in the middle of the afternoon. You now know my secret, both Jeff and I typically lounge in our pajama pants when we are home. You know you do it too or would like to, why not be comfy.
Homemade granola
Raisin almond granola on the left, and peanut butter dark chocolate on the right. The peanut butter one is so good I can't believe that it barely has any peanut butter in it. I don't use any oil or refined sugars in my granola, only all natural healthy ingredients. Sorry I can't give out the recipe details, I have some things in the works for the future.
