Tonight for dinner we tried these whole wheat buns by Nature's Pride. I was sent them to try through the Food buzz taste makers program.

I had already had bread at lunch so I skipped the bun, but Jeff had one on his chicken burger. I had a bite of it and it was nice and soft and tasted very similar to other whole wheat hamburger buns that I have had. I love 100% whole wheat buns because there always nice and fluffy, but very similar to the traditional white buns.

I had my Tj's chili lime chicken burger with a slice of Havarti light cheese, dill pickles, Tj's bbq sauce, and lettuce.

I served it with some roasted thinly sliced sweet potato's and a few slices baby red potato. I liked the thin slices, it was crispy on the edges and soft in the center, I'm definitely making these again. I also had some of the leftover fruit salad from last night.

  2. thats my favorite way to eat potatoes (and i eat them a lot of different ways!)
