Trial and error

I made some overnight oats using Bob's extra thick rolled oats

I mixed 2 TB. each of pear and lemon Wallaby yogurt with 1/4 cup soymilk, 1/3 cup oats, and 1 tsp. chia seeds. I left it in the fridge overnight to soften up. When I took it out of the fridge this morning it was really thick. I added about 1/3 cup hot water to it and microwaved it for 45 sec. With the addition of all the water the oat mix grew bigger then I wanted and the texture wasn't very good. I think I will stick with smaller oats, overall it wasn't very good.

I didn't want to waste it so I added some toppings to make it better:
dried cherries
raspberry all fruit spread
all natural almond butter
Galaxy cranberry orange granola
Yogi walnut spice granola

I also enjoyed a cup of Mighty leaf green tea tropical


  1. Urg! I hate being disappointed with food! I also hate wasting! I hope the toppings helped and that you have a tasty lunch planned. :)

  2. I'm a bigger fan of tea then coffee. I work around coffee all day long.

  4. I hear ya. I used to be a coffee all day long person. Now it's just one cup in the morning and then tea/water for the rest of the day. :)
