Bean dip


In a baking dish I made layers of:
layer 1 (bottom) fat free refried beans
layer 2 fat free spicy black bean dip
layer 3 salsa
layer 4 ground turkey (cooked ground turkey, diced onion, all natural taco seasoning, garlic salt, and pepper)
layer 4 more salsa
layer 5 reduced fat cheddar cheese
layer 6 (top) diced red pepper and a sprinkle of parsley
Baked at 350 degrees for 30 min.

Topped with romaine lettuce, salsa, Greek non fat yogurt, and baked tortilla chips. This was the first time I have used Greek yogurt in place of sour cream and it was really good. I'm staying away from fat free sour cream since it's probably got some filler and preservatives. The Greek yogurt tasted even better then sour cream.

  1. YUM! That looks and sounds delicious! I love layered bean dips! I am definitely going to do this!!! Oh, I am posting that recipe for the quinoa burgers tomorrow. I was impressed that my husband liked them too!
