Falafel mix
I doubled the recipe
mix in a blender or food processor to the consistency you would like
(I made mine too creamy, I would like the garbanzo beans to stand out more next time)
mix 2 can's of garbanzo beans in a blender
add 1 TB. parsley, 1 tsp. red pepper flakes, 1 tsp. garlic flakes and a squeeze of lemon
add 1/2 of an onion chopped up
Pulse blender until the consistency you desire
Add to a bowl and stir in 8 TB. whole wheat flour (our flour of your choice)
4 tsp. baking powder
Let rest in fridge for 2hrs or more.
Form into patties on a coated with cooking spray baking sheet at 350 degree for 25 min. Once done let cool for 5 to 10 min. to help firm up the patties.
I also think this mix would be good as a dip without the flour and baking soda added in.
